Who is an actor that you thought sucked, but got better and better with time?

I would have to go with Robert Pattinson. I didn't think he was going to do anything meaningful after being a star in the twilight series. Dude went the indie movie route, put in work and got really, really good. The past few movies that I have seen him in he sticks out in scenes.
