Children of Men seems like it's more relevant today than it was in 2006.

I had not watched the film for about 10 years. I always considered it a favorite of mine and always recommend it to others. Last night i sat and watched it with a friend and was awe struck at how prescient it was.In my opinion it depicted an extrapolated future from the lens of the awful stuff happening around 2006. But it didn't fall too far off the mark. Fascistic governments, refugee demonization, a global pandemic, an out of touch upper class. These themes may have been universal, but for some reason the movie hit me different.Have you seen it recently? What are your thoughts ? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3xZtdjr
