Children of Men seems like it's more relevant today than it was in 2006.

I had not watched the film for about 10 years. I always considered it a favorite of mine and always recommend it to others. Last night i sat and watched it with a friend and was awe struck at how prescient it was.In my opinion it depicted an extrapolated future from the lens of the awful stuff happening around 2006. But it didn't fall too far off the mark. Fascistic governments, refugee demonization, a global pandemic, an out of touch upper class.
