Who, in your opinion, is the single most disrespected character ever to be adapted to the big screen?

Is there a character you loved from any medium be it a novel, comic book, tv show etc. That was adapted to the big screen only to have you feeling let down entirely?For me, as a huge comic book fan, it has to be any iteration of Marvel’s Dr. Doom that we’ve had on screen so far.
