Of the ten movies in the "Fast & Furious" series, the only five that are "fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes are the five with Dwayne Johnson in them.

Based on this week's news that Hobbs is no longer going to be involved in the (main) series, I took a look back at how the series has been received over the years via Rotten Tomatoes. "Fresh" on RT is 60%, and the series goes:The Fast and the Furious (No Rock, 54%)2 Fast 2 Furious (No Rock, 36%)The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (No Rock, 38%)Fast & Furious (No Rock, 28%)Fast Five (Rock, 77%)Fast & Furious 6 (Rock, 71%)Furious 7 (Rock, 82%)The Fate of the Furious (Rock, 67%)Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (Rock, 67%)F9: The Fast Saga (No Rock, 59%)The average tomato score for the series as a whole is 58%, with an average rating of 5.7.The average tomato score for just the movies without The Rock is 43%, average rating 5.1.The average tomato score for just the movies with The Rock? 73% Fresh with an average rating of 6.3. That's very nearly certified fresh (75%).I know that nobody necessarily watches these movies for their critical acclaim, but I think it's a pretty stark correlation between a "good" Fast movie and a "not so good" Fast movie. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3kN8coe
