I just saw it on TV, and it's probably becoming one of my favourite movies. The story follows John J. Rambo returning back to the U.S, after years of serving in Vietnam. He's after a friend from 'Nam, but finds out that he died a year ago from cancer, after serving. He walks his way to the quiet small town of Hope, Washington, meeting the sleazy police chief Teasle, whom soon harrasses him, getting him in the police station. When he finds himself getting harrassed by the police, PTSD from 'Nam kicks into Rambo, and he runs away to the woods, police on his tail, wanting to kill him.Doesn't sound like a Rambo movie, does it? It's actually not one at all. It's a "fish out of water" turned "manhunt" story. And a damn good movie. Sylvester Stallone deliveres an amazing performance as a PTSD filled soldier with police on his tail, with the last scene showing an especially great performance. This is not a "one man war" movie like the sequels: It's a survivor story. And so unique.Like, making something like this today, and making it as great, if not better, would be damn near impossible. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2V2QVg9

» First Blood (1982) is such a great "one of a kind" movie, and i'm actually kinda shocked the sequels derailed into what you probably think of when you hear the word/name "Rambo".
