It's not a deep or complicated movie by any means, but it's definitely fun and a great way to kill an hour and a half. Bruce Campbell is at his best as the uber-macho Ash Williams, a man who's good at one thing: killing Deadites. There are moments of great action, and moments of great comedy. The make-up is creepy and the effects, while outdated, still work perfectly with the film.
