So I came across The Transporter on streaming the other day, and kicked back to watch a movie I really enjoyed when it first came out 20 years ago. I think it still holds up. It’s a tight 90 minutes of Jason Statham being Jason Statham, well choreographed driving and fight sequences, and just enough dialog to keep the plot together. In short, and great movie watch when you just want to turn your brain off for a bit.So naturally, the next day I queue up Transporter 2. Basically, it inverts the ratio of dialogue to action that the first one had, and is worse off for it. The driving and action sequences that made the first movie so enjoyable were stripped down due to needing more dialog, leading to a less annoyance movie. What other movies have you watched that had this problem with the sequels? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3dpYJi2
