... and holy shit, the movie is a fucking master piece of sci-fi. Some friends of mine always recommend District 9 when I talk about Arrival, so imagine my surprise when I started to watch it; I was caught completely out of guard on the intensity of the movie, I didn't expected that at all, it was more intense that a lot of thriller movies I watched it. I was on the edge of my sit since the beggining, and now I'm even shaking a little. I'm so tense my head ache.The hype around this movie is definitely justified, the script is really good, the direction is almost perfect. But the acting of Sharlto Copley was what sold the movie for me. Holy fucking shit, the guy is good. His characters is very flawless, and not in a conventional anti-hero way. He's not a badass edgy old man who are actually a good guy. He's just a privilege guy, who can afford to be a dick because it will never bit him in the ass. And Copley did an amazing job on it.Well, I loved the movie and needed to ventilate a little. Now I'm taking a shower, then I'll go to my bed to spent some hours thinking about the big questions; did Christopher come back? Declare war or just to pick their comrades?
