I just recently rewatced John Carter (of Mars). It's a spectacular film that set's up an expansive universe if you are anywhere familiar with the books. I'm not really surprised at the treatment the film got by Disney seeing it's timing, but I'm super hopeful an animated franchise can be made to flesh out the whole of the material with Disney+ or something of the sort.Rant over.
