Trees Lounge (1996) written and directed by Steve Buscemi is one of the most engrossing, slice of life films I've seen in some time.

Been looking for hidden gems of the 90s as of late.Buscemi stars as an unemployed, frustrated 30 or 40 something constantly at odds with friends, family and the patrons of his local dive bar.The narrative is loose and the film is full of quirky characters. The film feels like it could be set in your own neighborhood. The struggles depticted with women, family and friends are all too real but done in a very subtle and swift way.Buscemi shines as the central character in this ensemble filled with some of the top character actors and actresses of the era. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3p83DoW
