What are some movies that really aren't that good but you can tell that everyone involved tried their best and worked really hard but they just fell short?

I was going through some old tapes the other day and I came across my old "Casper" VHS. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid, but after rewatching some clips on YouTube it's clear that it doesn't really hold up that well. But you can really tell that there was a ton of effort put in by everyone involved. The performances are solid, the CGI effects were revolutionary for the time, the score is amazing, and there are some genuinely emotional moments (and young me was in love with Christina Ricci).
