Currently watching Fast & Furious 9 and all I can think about is how the Franchise has really “jumped the shark” (a common phrase originated from Happy Days when Fonzie jumps over a shark on water skies, used to imply that a show or franchise has declined in quality and is no longer what it once was). If you enjoy the crazy, far out there, unbelievable plots the Fast & Furious franchise has turned to, no judgement from me, it can certainly be fun from a pure entertainment perspective, but you have to admit the franchise has changed drastically.
