The Night Before deserves to be a Christmas classic. It’s raunchy but has heart, and has a great performance by Michael Shannon

I’ve started watching this movie several times a year during Christmas season, and it’s one of those movies that I feel is overlooked. It’s got great performances by everyone, Michael Shannon and Seth Rogen really steal the show though. Seth plays an unhinged insane person, who is a mild mannered lawyer dad that receives a box of various drugs, and throughout the movie he consumes most of them and gives a crazy Fear and Loathing type performance.But this movie has heart and soul, and it’s genuinely funny, and emotional at times. It’s probably the raunchiest Christmas movie out there, worse than Bad Santa lol. I think it deserves its place as a Christmas classic.
