The Guest (2014) starring Dan Stevens was surprisingly solid

I love me some Dan Stevens, so I thought I'd give "The Guest" a watch. I really enjoyed it, especially the performances by Stevens and the two younger actors, Maika Monroe (from "It Follows") and Brendan Meyer. It's a plot we've all seen before, where an outsider preys on a vulnerable family with his charm and wiles until one of them gets suspicious. However, the acting and action scenes are top-notch, and the music is also really good (and part of the plot) and these combine to elevate the viewing experience and make it tons of fun.
