Pretty unusual that it took me this long - I'm an older dude and anything Python is definitely up my tree. Just for some reason had never caught it until I came across it on a flight last weekend. It's an enjoyable romp, a bit unpredictable, and I loved the star turns from Sean Connery and David Warner. What I want to talk about it the ending...(Spoilers below for a 40-year old movie)What is with that ending? It seemed really bleak and out-of-synch with the rest of the film. Yes, his parents were horrible people, but blowing them the fuck up and leaving him an orphan seems a tad harsh - am I wrong? And then you get another glimpse of Sean Connery, and you think about how he wanted to be Kevin's father in another lifetime, but off Sean goes on his fire truck. And then it ends.Am I missing something, or did I just get tweaked by Terry Gilliam? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3cCRe6E
