I specifically avoid movie trailers and frequently see movies completely unaware of who or what i will see. And its amazing.

Obviously i look up a short one sentence synopsis and for all the big budget movies its impossible to miss the advertising so i always know what i'm going to see but damn it makes a much better experience not knowing that 20 minutes into the film the main character is betrayed. In a related note a recent girlfriend of mine was from europe and had therefore missed many american classics. She trusted my taste in movies so wpuld let me choose, I would give her a single sentence synopsis and we'd just watch the movie. I was so jealous of her haha, imagine getting to see the shawshank redemption for the first time as an adult and being able to fully understand all the nuances you would miss as a teenager. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3HlYRwE
