I've been thinking about Finchers fantastic movie Gone Girl in the last couple of days and decided to watch a few clips on youtube. The clips which heavily features Amy Dunne like her monologue are filled with comments that support or really empathize with her. I mean I get that Nick (Ben Affleck) was a cheating asshole but I was still rooting for him and not a murdering psycho like her. It seems like a lot of women empathize or "support" Amy online. The supporting comments are also on Tik Tok and other social media platformsPeople draw comparisons how males support The Joker but I don't think anyone appreciates what he's done or that he was in the right.What do you guys think about it?
