The movie had a ton to live up top obviously, and I think it does a great job balancing a few very-hard-to-execute tasks. It has enough DNA in common with The Shining to be a true sequel, it is highly competent at handling the new material and characters, and even spends enough time with some directorial flare to make it its own thing (I'm thinking of the way the film presents Rose the Hat's flight).Though, I feel like the only time this movie gets brought up are "This film is under-appreciated." Which, shit, I guess that's what this is. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3jAyXeQ
