What is the most messed-up/out of place subplot in movie history?

I put forward that it is in Vincent Diesel’s seminal work .... The Pacifier.That movie has a subplot where Diesel’s Shane Wolfe believes on of the children he’s babysitting/protecting is a Nazi.This movie is aimed at children and they have a plot-line about believing a 14 year old boy is a Neo-Nazi.And then it turns out he’s just auditioned to be in a musical where he’ll be playing a Nazi.
