Mills gets a text from his ex-wife to get bagels and meet at his place. When he arrives, he finds a knife on the floor, which he picks up with his bare hands (like an experienced CIA operative would) and his ex-wife's lifeless body in his bed. The police arrive seconds later to arrest him, but Mills resists and flees. Why? There is no evidence to suggest he's guilty other than his prints on the knife, but that can be easily explained away. He also has the text as evidence of no ill will towards his wife and the alibi of the cashier at the bagel shop, which would probably demonstrate there was no time between walking from the bagel shop and arriving at the wife's house to kill her.The fact that he flees makes him look really foolish and makes it impossible to sympathize with whatever challenges he faces as a result.Anyway... via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3wb8l7q
