Since he hasn't acted in quite a few years, I feel like his name among the greats of American actors is often forgotten, but he really shines in almost every performance he gives. From The French Connection to Unforgiven to Hoosiers to The Royal Tennenbaums, he really puts out great performances. But even in movies you don't associate him with, he helps really sell it. He's great in The Firm and Enemy of the State, for example, playing great character pieces. He is truly remarkable and really kills every performance. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2CYkg28
