Disney’s President of Music & Soundtracks Mitchell Leib, confirms a Tron 3 is in the works and in search for director.

In an interview for the Light The Fuse podcast, Mitchell Leib, Disney’s President of Music & Soundtracks gives some insider info regarding a potential sequel to 2010’s Tron: Legacy. “I lunched with Paul Hann to, A: you know, further a bit of a starting conversation about, that we’re looking at making a sequel to Tron now, we’re looking to make a Tron 3. And we’ve got a great script, I mean a really phenomenal script that we’re very excited about, and, where as the timing wasn’t right to have done it years ago, I think we feel like the timing is right now, and we learned a lot of lessons from that last movie. And so, you know Paul and I are always about, look the right and first thing to do is to try to bring Daft Punk back, and what they want too, and, you know, the answer is they’re open to anything and everything but you gotta take it as it comes and see what the circumstances are, and, um, we don’t even know who would be directing it yet, I mean I think we’re hopeful that Joe Kosinski would be back.” Discussion begins around the 24 minute mark.Mitchell Leib podcast interview via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3ikfSuJ
