What Disney movie has the best soundtrack?

I honestly think from every angle, it's Tarzan, in my own opinion. Every song was amazing. Whilst still very catchy, the songs told the whole story and it's maturity. Hellfire was undoubtedly the most dark song for a villain, Frollo's sexual obsession yet how repressed his sexuality was. Internal damnation. Extremely dark and serious for a children's movie, when one thinks about it nothing about that movie whatsoever was suitable for children. Beauty and the Beast sounded gorgeous in a romantic way. That music when Beast transforms sounds like total magic. The music at the prologue, sad, romantic yet mysterious. Lion King, everything Hans Zimmer did was brilliance, yet done with such simplicity. It was especially good because of how much emotion it was able to show, that scene where Simba takes his place and the background music. Incredible. I love the score from Little Mermaid, at the start and the end. I seem to have a thing for scores, not actual songs with lyrics but pieces of music with a variety of instruments. And even though it wasn't one of my more preferred movies as a child, Pocahontas, If I Never Knew You. Listen to the instrumental - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqqdQoSJ34w&t=64s . The climax at the end, I have no words. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/39aIIYY
