Relaxing the rules on movies before 1970 - you can now link to trailers and scenes from old movies you want to share

Starting today, the following is allowed for any movie released prior to 1970:Movie scenes as link postsTrailers as link postsYou still have to name the movie in the subject title, and likewise can't ask a question in the submission title of a link post, but any titles like this would be fantastic. So please, as someone who goes through old watchlists regularly - recommend some movies in the subreddit! For those wondering "I can't recommend newer movies!?!" - Yes, you can. Just not as link posts. You can, and are encouraged to, recommend movies all you like - just as text posts. Most people shy away from this because text posts require 300 characters of writing and writing why you like something just seems icky to some people. So we've made it a little easier for older movies.Other rules apply. Like god help you if you use the words "hidden gem" or "underrated" in a submission title. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/31ihHjq
