Literally, the billboard they projected it on was underneath a subway and the whole area was jam-packed (as you could imagine). You'd think it deter the experience compared to seeing it in a theater, but it really added an immersive ambience. I sat directly in the front, inches from the street, and the intense heat of the cars passing by and the schreeching sounds of the subway carts supplemented the film's atmosphere. Though, it did get repetetive when people passing in their cars would shout out to ask what we were all doing, but it was all in good fun. One guy screamed out of his car, "What y'all looking at??!!", as he probably never has seen that many people congregated in such a small park. Overall, it was a unique filmgoing experience. I hope they continue to do the program next summer and I reccommend anyone to go out of their way to see it. You might just have a Good Time ; ) via /r/movies https://ift.tt/33qEMRR
