[Edit] Totally talking about Before Sunrise here, but am halfway through Before Sunset. The two titles can get easily mixed up.The dialogue sounds so off the cuff and improvised, however the actors insist it was all straight off the script. Every scene addresses larger themes about love, life, setbacks, what it means to be human, etc. It's a snapshot into the lives of both characters. There is character development, but realistic development. As in: this is how much a real person might grow during a night like this experienced with a total stranger. If I remember correctly, the sequels follow a similar pattern.Have you seen these films? What do you remember about them, specifically the first one? Where does it rank with you amongst other romantic films, Linklater's films, "realistic" films, etc? Do you think he will make another in two or three years? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3vRaoO9

» Rewatching Before Sunset. I think it may be one of the greatest things ever put to film.
