Please explain how Mark Wahlberg is still an A-lister?

Dude has given maybe three or four good performances (Boogie Nights, Three Kings, The Departed, The Other Guys in his entire career. In so many of his films he's clearly out acted by those around him like Christian Bale in The Fighter. And most of his films tend to flop outside of the two Transformers films he's done. So, why is he still starring in everything. He always strikes me as cast in a film that Matt Damon or Tom Cruise turned down prior to him.Honestly, when was the last good film of his that most people enjoyed? When was the last time he pushed himself as an actor? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3iuMpkh
