Any love for "The 6th Day" (2000) here ?

First, I'm a sucker for a fun retro futuristic look, and this movie really peaks at it. Really well done daily modernity, specially on the scenes in the beginning. Second, it knows how to get unexpected. Out of nowhere things get really funny or really gruesome. Lastly, it has such interesting, deep themes of mortality and identity just casually sprinkled throughout the plot. Could it be done as a much serious film ? I mean, sure, but I don't see the point ? I like the campiness, it adds a different flavor to the whole thing. Finally, it's just a fun watch. Really like this movie via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3xiIAmq
