For me it's Revenge of the Sith. John Williams is at his greatest, with 5 other Star Wars movies under his belt as well as countless other masterpieces such as Jaws and Schindler's List. But none of them come close to ROTS, mainly because of its constant tonal shifts; the score, like the film, takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, ranging from edge-of-your-seat excitement to the deepest sadness in a matter of seconds. While the film struggles to convey these moments, the score elevates itself to god-like status with tracks like "I'm So Sorry" and, of course, "Battle of the Heroes."
