Honey Boy (2019) was the most devastatingly honest film I've seen in years.

If you haven't seen it yet, I just found it on Amazon Prime.Shia LaBeouf wrote the screenplay when he was in rehab. Diagnosed with PTSD, he wrote out the abuse he suffered from his father when he was just a child star.In it, he plays his father. The film has stayed with me all day and wanted to recommend it. Along with Portrait of a Lady of Fire and Parasite (both of which are on Hulu), it's definitely in my top 3 of last year. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3b6py89
