Canadian director Denis Villeneuve declared "filmmaker of the decade" by Hollywood Critics Association

Actually this happened last year but never heard about it.Quebec film director Denis Villeneuve has been named Filmmaker of the Decade by the Hollywood Critics Association.The 52-year-old Villeneuve, a native of Bécancoeur, has a filmography that over the past decade has included Incendies (2010), Prisoners (2013), Sicario (2015), Arrival (2016, which earned him a Oscar nomination for best director), and Blade Runner 2049 (2017), the sequel to the 1982 science-fiction classic directed by Ridley Scott.He is presently working on an adaption of The Son, based on the crime novel of the same name, as well as a remake of Dune, another iconic work of science fiction. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2V9Z0ND
