I always felt that the Lord of the Rings trilogy had very distinctive colours for each film, so I took an average of 10,000 frames and boosted the brightness and contrast.I was pleased with the results and so did the same thing for Kieślowski's Three Colours Trilogy.You can see the results here.I really like the way the Three Colours comes out like a dirty French flag, and the LotR colours matched my impression of their moods well.I have it set up so that this is now a pretty simple process, so any more suggestions would be welcome. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3bmsIES
