So I just re-watched this really high and it was an absolute delight. Just a fully transcendent experience. I feel like I've discovered a whole new way of thinking about life thanks to this movie. I'm not sure how to explain it, it was just so damn thought provoking every two seconds. Every movement and gesture from every robot was beautifully thought out. This is a perfect film. The fire extinguisher dance scene in space? Like come on, that is cinema at its best. The visuals in general are just masterful. Probably my 2nd favourite Pixar movie now (Ratatouille remains untouchable for me) Maybe I should rewatch every Pixar movie high and rediscover my appreciation of them in a new way.
