The Adventures of Tintin (2011) is the adventure film I never knew was missing from my life

My little brother (17) and I (22) are huge movie buffs so we started a tradition this year, each night we either watch something brand new together or one of us will show the other a fresh title. Last night we stumbled across Tintin... and both were completely awestruck. As huge fans of the video game series Uncharted our eyes were glued to the screen. It immediately became one of our favorite adventure films of all time. With a voice cast of Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost I genuinely have no idea how this film was never under my radar. The animation looks like a film of this decade not of the last. The smallest details from the sand and waves in the sea to the sunburnt wrinkles on Captain Haddock are simply astonishing. As I mentioned Uncharted before, the action sequences in Tintin really seem like a homage to the game series. I genuinely cannot suggest this movie enough, if you’re looking for a feel good classic adventure with amazing humor look no further.
