Has anyone else noticed the similarities between these two Ben Stiller led movies?Both follow groups of delusional celebrities dropped into a jungle thinking they are somewhere else (movie set vs San Diego Zoo.)Both have Ben Stiller's character being separated from the group and is drawn into a deeper, more hostile form of himself and then needs to be rescued from this state by a black/white colleague.Even the characters themselves have similarities. Ben Stiller's Alex the Lion and Tugg Speedman are celebrities that love the game they have/once had. There's a larger character (the hippo and Jeff Portnoy), a skinny, higher pitched voiced guy (giraffe and Kevin Sandusky), a black/white character that doesn't know who he is anymore and wants to be someone different (zebra and Kirk Lazurus) via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2TPFMet
