His performance as Coop is by no means ground breaking, but I just can't help but feel that he is perfectly cast in this film.A film like Inception for instance, I honestly think there are several other actors who could have replaced Leonardo DiCaprio as Cobb - but with Interstellar, I can't imagine anyone other than McConaughey.He's cool as hell in the role, but he's also just so damn endearing too. He's a fine blend of concerned father/endearing/cool/ambitious...
