Which films have a Director’s cut that is drastically different from the Theatrical cut?

I’ve recently been obsessed over comparing the director’s cut and the theatrical cut of Brian Helgeland’s Payback (1999) starring Mel Gibson. If you have seen the film in both cuts, they are practically different movies. They differ not just by an addition or replacement of some scenes, but the entire tone. The director’s cut has a different color tone and a different score entirely. It also portrays the protagonist in a very different way. it also has a completely different third act.I wonder if there is another case that is as interesting as Payback. The runner up on my list is Salt (Angelina Jolie). Which includes not two but three cuts on the Blu-ray. One of the cuts also has a completely different ending. But the film for the most part still looks and feels the same as the theatrical version.Chime in :) via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2YX2h3f
