My personal top 5 would be1) The LighthouseDeeply unsettling and disturbing, I absolutely love the way this movie is shot and the two leads are absolutely outstanding2) The IrishmanSubversive and powerful, the last fourth of this movie will stick with me for ages as some of the best filmmaking and acting of the year3) Once Upon A Time... in HollywoodVery fun and entertaining, though a bit too long, there is a lot to like about Tarantino’s 9th movie, like the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Leo4) JokerDark and unsettling, Joaquin Phoenix shines in this well written and beautifully shot tragedy5) Knives OutExtremely clever and fun, well shot and acted, this is a movie I can watch over and over and over again(Honorable Mentions: Rocketman, John Wick 3, Avengers Endgame, Spider-Man FFH)We’re nearing the end of the year, so what would y’all consider the best so far via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2P4UlrU
