I recently watched "Yesterday" and loved it. But I do have one issue with the ending. SPOILERS ahead if you haven't seen it yet!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie because I'm a huge Beatles fan and I thought they did a great job of paying homage to the songs. It was also well-written and acted.I knew the truth would eventually come out because movies are usually predictable. But I came to like the main character and found myself wishing he could just go on being popular and singing Beatles tunes and also get the girl. I hated the part where he confessed to the world that he was a fraud.I understand why they did what they did, but I would have liked an alternate ending where maybe he explained it all to John Lennon and received his blessing to perform these songs to the world. Maybe he starts a charity where he gives away a lot of his money. But to completely shut it all down was a bummer. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2Y79CMU
