I always liked that Pierce Brosnan's character wasn't some evil scumbag. He was a good guy who loved the kids. The cliche was always that the new boyfriend was actually a jerk, and the ex would get his wife and family back after exposing the evil new boyfriend. I always liked that this movie sort of flipped the script. The dad IS bit of a loser, they stay divorced, but in the end he straightens out his life and gets to be with his kids again. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2Kwe3uo
