I'll start, I really love The Last Jedi. I love it because it was something completely different to what we have seen. I remember people complaining that episode 7 was bad because it was too similar to previous movies so I don't understand why people dislike episode 8 when they did something new with it. Not everything goes in the favour of the protagonist, the "big bad" was killed halfway through (which I would also say subverted expectations) and I feel like the movie had great action sequences.
