What’s an acting performance you think goes unnoticed because it’s part of a mediocre movie?

I haven’t seen it in a while, but I remember Jackie Chan being incredible in the Karate Kid remake. He plays the mentor role perfectly. I feel like the movie gets panned in favor of the original and because it’s a ‘jaden smith haha lol’ movie. Jackie is also often pigeonholed as an action/comedy star, which he is so much more than. I agree, that as a whole the movie is pretty meh, but Jackie is incredible. The car breakdown scene is fantastic. Just goes to show that Jackie is the GOAT.
