The voice acting is solid, the animation is great and mixes with the CGI well (hell, the CGI in some sequences looks great even for today's standards), the soundtrack is fucking sublime (Cosmic Castaway and Over My Head are simply spectacular), and sure, the story may be a bit generic, but it has undeniable charm and heart.
