What are some of the best acted character monologues in film history?

I re-watch Jaws every summer.Robert Shaw's performance recounting the details of the USS Indianapolis is undoubtedly one of the best acted monologues of all time.I was wondering what other movies have tremendously acted monologues from actors/actresses that have you completely riveted and you are absorbed by their every word, gesture, or mannerism?-Another favorite of mine is Jack Nicholson in The Shining when he's at the bar with Lloyd. Just after he has his second drink and starts his monologue with "I never laid a hand on him Goddamnit..." via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2U1kDBT
