The Italian Job (1969) is one of the all time greatest British films, but the 2003 remake just seems to smear everything classic about the original.

Don’t get me wrong, the remake had some good actors cast. Although, it would have been cool if Jason Statham was cast as Charlie Croker instead. It’s just the construction of the film that puts me off ever watching it. For example, an ‘Italian Job’ is meant to be in ‘Italy’ perhaps… not Los Angeles. I feel I’m being made to watch a bland Fast and Furious sequel during the progression of the film. There are many things I could point out, but I’m not going to rant on for that long. What are your thoughts on this film? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/36hjoBi
