The Studio Ghibli classic "Spirited Away" was released 20 years ago today, on July 20, 2001.I recall seeing this film quite a while later, maybe in late 2002, when it was finally released to theaters in the USA. I was enthralled by the story-telling and animation then and still am now. The film really has a healthy dose of everything - human feeling, wondrous creatures, and magical aura that draws you right in.This is one of my five favorite 5 animated films of the past 25 years, up there with "Princess Mononoke", "The Iron Giant", "Ratatouille" and "Toy Story 2".Happy Birthday, "Spirited Away". via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2UkjMg5
