For me, she's the closest to Isabelle Huppert when it comes to American actresses, she is incredible in every movie she's been in. She's very raw and real, played a ton of difficult, challenging roles (I'm still shocked she didn't get nominated for Georgia or Miami Blues), did a few commercial movies that were hit and miss (she was basically playing a Virginia Madsen type of part in Backdraft but in Single White Female, she brought her acting range to a part which could have been easily one-note).So many good performances: Last Exit to Brooklyn, Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Machinist, Kansas City, Rush, The Hateful Eight, Margot at the Wedding...etc.She even co-directed a pretty good movie called The Anniversary Party. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3hAlHo8

» Does anyone think Jennifer Jason Leigh should have been a lot more respected and popular than she is?
