Terry Gillaim's 12 Monkeys, 1995, is one of the best Sci-Fi's ever made, and his best work.

Its been on my top 10 all-time film list since it came out. I was 1r years old, raised by a film fanatic, I was one myself. I was 14 when this movie came out. I was a film fanatic then, but didn't know about film to the extent that I do now. I'd seen Gilliam's other films, but didn't make the connection that he was the one that made this as well.The look of it, the absurdly unique set design, the use of wide angle, the cyclical nature of the story, fucking Willis and Pitt.
