I made a podcast in which famous screenwriters revisit their first drafts of movies

Hey everyone!Just wanted to shamelessly promote a podcast I created in lockdown for movie fans and aspiring screenwriters. It's called Script Apart, and each episode, a famous screenwriter shares with me their first draft of an acclaimed movie they wrote. We then talk about what changed, what didn't and why on its journey to the big screen. So far, we've had on everyone from Barry Jenkins (MOONLIGHT) to Steven E de Souza (DIE HARD), delving into those projects' origins, alternative endings, abandoned character arcs and so on. We've got episodes coming up with Pixar and Marvel Cinematic Universe writers as well as Oscar-winning heavyweights, reading cut scenes from often vastly-different initial drafts of beloved movies.Proceeds go to good causes, Esquire, British GQ and Wired all named us in their best podcasts of 2020 lists, and we've got big plans for 2021. Our website is ScriptApart.com if you'd like to check it out. Just to make it easy for you, here's links to a couple of our most popular episodes so far:JOHN WICK with Derek Kolstad: https://ift.tt/3ofAGFp with James Vanderbilt: https://ift.tt/3sVtr8X to anyone who listens as far back as my interviews with Joe Cornish and Stephen Merchant – this is my first time "presenting" and I'm learning on the job. (Apparently you're supposed to *checks notes* talk clearly instead of mumbling through the entire thing???? Who knew!)Posted this on r/screenwriting but thought I'd drop it here too, as the final episode of season one is dropping on Wednesday and it's a BIG one. Hope you guys like it if you get a chance to check it out. Oh and feel free to request episodes below! I'm putting season two together as we speak. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2MqH9QM
