Looking back this movie I always wonder why movie didn't make a name for itself and such a great watch. The whole plot line was just extraordinary to watch and from what I am hearing from research is that the book adaptation was one of biggest influences for sci-fi for movies like star wars and avatar . But when you look back it name " John Carter" nobody knows who that is or that it based on old book adaptation.Then you have trailer.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlvYKl1fjBIIts not a bad trailer but it doesn't give any info of what the movie is going to be about and so many viewers will be left in the dark.Then Disney having their head up their ass wanted left out the title " John Carter of Mars" which would have at least raise a few more eyebrows to public.Posters didn't help either.
